Sanctum – Not Deep Enough
CHECK IT OUT IN A MATINEE BUT DON’T PAY FULL PRICE!
While visually stunning, James Cameron’s Sanctum is lacking something in plot and somewhat misses the mark on being a good movie. It’s a decent movie; but other than some cool cinematography, the dialogue and plot are both lacking. My vote is that this is a typical man versus the elements movie.
It seems like the studio knew they were in trouble because the commercials mention Avatar and Titanic as enticement to see this film. Take that as a huge red flag that this movie does not pull its own weight. Not a bad movie, just not that good either.
How long did it take you to write this? This is Absolutely fantastic.
