My daughter was born 4 months early. Initially they did not think she would make it through the night. After the first night they gave her a week. Slowly but surely, she got stronger and stronger and even when she would take steps back, she still showed strength. That was September 1996. She is 15 now and still has that fighter spirit.

I mom sat me down and and a talk and told me never to run from my fears. Days later I met the girl out in the school parking lot…she hit me and I returned with a hit that knock her to the ground…..needless to say she never bothered me again!

When I was 12 years old I had to have patella relinements on both my knees. I was born with these knees so it was not because of any accident. The dr. gave me a 40% chance of being able to walk normally after both knees were operated on. So after 6 months of laying on my back, I started rehab. I was determined to be able to live a normal life. I joined the school swim team and practiced year around to try and strengthen my knees. Needless to say, I defied the odds and grew up a normal kid. Now, at 46, and even though the dr’s say I have knees of an 80 year old man, I continue to swim, exercise and strengthen my knees and beat the odds ever day.

Over coming odds is the main topic for this movie. Well I face odds everyday. If I step this way will my foot snap again. If I walk up those stairs will I twist my ankle again. I know ur wondering what I’m talking about. Well my name is Jennifer and I am a single mom of four wonderful children which two are gods greatest gift to me. I am a cancer surviver. I had astro sarcoma when my second child just turned one. Lost all the like bone from ankle to knee. They told me I couldn’t have more kids because if demo and my heart failing. Ihave had two more since. But there was a price to pay. When my youngest of the four turned one I spirel creaked the big bone in same leg. So now I have 30 pins and screws and 3sheets of merely holding it all together. That’s not the end of it. I have sprained my ankle so many times my kids are used to it. But these last two years I now have been breaking the foot at the bottom. Just getting over the last one which was done 3
days before Xmas. So my life everyday is trying to beat the odds. Will I or will I not mess something else up with this foot. But praise God I still have my leg and foot. So thus is my story. Thank you…
