  1. A guy at my work was stealing candy from our candy box. I told him that I was going to start keeping a tally of what he took and if he didn’t pay for it I was going to report him to the manager. Yup he brought in money the next day 🙂

My co worker on my job was convinced that one of our fellow colleagues was leaving the job and then turning in her time sheet for work that wasn’t done. So, she set a trap. She told our boss that it was critical that he show up at one of our work sites at the time she thought our colleague was leaving. Sure enough, he showed up and waited for almost 4 hours for our co worker to show up from her ” lunch break”. Needless to say, she fired the next day.

  6. Linlady says:

I never really exposed someone doing wrong because I didn’t want someone to expose me when I was doing wrong. Now if there was a possibility that they were about to be exposed and there was an opportunity for me to warn them and I didn’t, well I guess you could say that was somewhat exposing them.

In my 7th English class I watched a classmate steal candy from the teacher’s closet when she wasn’t there. I felt it wasn;t right and went to one of my other teachers who happened to be in charge of the student court class. I ended up testifying in the student-led trial saying that I had seen this person taking the candy. They were suspended because of what I said.

When I was in high school I knew of a girl who ran the school store. She used to steal candy and school supplies and give them out to her friends in class. I witnessed it on several occasions, but was afraid if I told on her, I would be the school tattle-tale. So I stayed after school in typing class ( years ago, does anyone remember that class?) and typed up a letter to the principal and Mrs. Lutzs who ran the school store explaining what was happening. I snuck it onto her desk and in the principals mailbox. The next day, Sandy was called down to the principals office and her locker was searched. She was suspended and had to pay for all she stole. I felt so guilty!

At my previous employer we had began to notice that toilet paper was disappearing from the storage room. So me and co-worker had a feeling who we thought it was but we couldn’t prove it. So my co-worker was able to get a nanny cam from his sister and we set it up in the storage room and was able to catch the person stuffing toilet paper in their backpack. We didn’t want the person to get fired so we didn’t say anything to our boss but we we sent the thief the video and they ended up quitting. So sorry!!

Recently someone was complaining to a movie theatre clerk. After they left the clerk I went and let them know that the person was the one in the wrong and was blatantly lieing about it.
