When I first met a friend he remembered where I worked and looked up the number and called out of the blue
My sister out of the blue just wanted to give me a University of MI outfit. It was just so kind and loving.
It made me feel great. When I asked her why…her reply was that she saw it and wanted me to have it.
My girlfriend is the best. She does little things all the time to make me feel so secure and loved. From making me a coffee to just the way she speaks to me makes me feel so wonderful.
My cat loves to purr on my lap or rub up his head to be played with. To me that is love.
A loving gesture does not have to come from a human. My dog is great and shows his love by cuddling up.
Since our baby was born it has been very busy to say the least. My wife and I take turns “giving” each other time to have to what they please whether to go out or just stay in.
My bride of 3mo and I just love to leave notes in odd places for each other to find.
My wife always does nice things for me. I cannot just list one.
My son coming in for a quick visit bringing a bouquet of flowers. That was very thoughtful.
My wife continually listens to me and supports me and brings a smile to my face every day!!
My friend surprised me by going out of her way to bring me soup when I was too sick to get of bed. Not only did she bring me soup, but she made it from scratch herself.
My husband continues to do loving things for me, even after 20 years. His most loving act? He had taken in my two children as his own and to this day, treats them as if they were of his own blood. Amazing!
My father got an oil change for me while I was away at a conference for work. I’d call that a loving gesture.
After giving birth to our second child, my husband’s grandmother, a woman of about 80 years of age, went out to her way to make my recovery from caesarean section as comfortable as possible by taking care of the children, making meals and just being there for me. A very special and gracious lady who will always be fondly remembered.
My girl friend said “Yes” when I ask her “Will you marry me?” over 36 years ago. The rest is history 🙂
My son got me gift certificates to 12 of my favorite restaurants for Christmas last year. I love food and he knows that.
A lady gave me a flower
It was very lovely
I love Hitchcock movies!
My wife marrying my was the best gesture of love.
In a previous relationship, my significant other got my children out of my hair in order for me to spend some much needed quality time with MYSELF! That meant SO much!!
I cut my finger and a little kid took off his band aid and said” take mine…it help heal my boo boo”…..aaawww!
My two brothers saved up and bought me a used car as a graduation present. They told me they had given up 6th months of allowances and mowed 40 lawns to afford it. Dad had kicked in the rest, but it was a super loving gesture that I never forgot!
My Mom gave me life and spent her life being the kindest and most giving person I have ever known
My husband proposed to me by an airplane carried a sign asking me to marry him and had the plane fly over a Detroit tiger baseball game
My girlfriend ordered dinner delivery for me because she new I was dogged tired.
An ex-girlfriend came to my workplace drunk and professed her love for me in front of everyone.
When I came home from the hospital after having surgery, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They were from my health insurance lady. I had never met her but she had helped me with various problems with claims over the phone. She was a life saver and took away much stress so I could get better. Even though she received a promotion and doesn’t do claims anymore, I still talk to her once in a while and we exchange Christmas cards. I thought that was such a nice loving gesture from a stranger turned friend.
