I once had inside information on an employment opportunity. The information I had was pertinent to the preference the boss wanted, though their preferences couldn’t be posted in the job description for political reasons. Nonetheless, I utilized the inside information, got the job, and remained with the company for over six years before moving on for a growth opportunity.

  2. Kent says:

I once heard about some people who were going to fight after school so I told the principal who came to the kids rescue and suspended the bully who started it. It felt great to know what was going to happen before it did!

  3. Mark E says:

When I lived in Chicago, I leveraged the “inside information” that the bar area of Cheesecake Factory was first come, first serve so while the tourists would stand in line for hours, my friends and I would each take a corner of the bar area and then pounce on a table when it became available. Two hour waits became 15 minute waits. 🙂

A friend of mine had a part time job as a janitor after school and while cleaning a classroom found a copy of a test in a wastebasket. I happened to have that class! Guess who ended up getting an A on the test?? Lucky me.

I took advantage of an EXCLUSIVE invite letter I received through the snail mail to a PRIVATE sale on kitchen appliances. The deal/offer was so AWESOME that I bought a new GE counter-top stove on the spot that day saving extra money. If I didn’t have the EXCLUSIVE invite letter in my possession to show the store as proof, the extra percentage off and lower cost to the stove wouldn’t be granted/offered. CHA-CHING 🙂 Coming Reel Soon…Thanks for the Chance on this giveaway. “I’M ALL IN TO WIN!!!”
