When I met my now wife on the bus, I didn’t see her for a few days. I would stand at the bus stop hoping she.was on the bus. If she wasn’t, I would get off and wait.for.the next bus. I ended letting four buses pass me by before I finally would give up for the day, so that I could go to work… The following week, she was on the bus and I fell up the step looking to see of she was riding. I really liked her and after two weeks of dating, I asked her for her hand in marriage. We have been married now for 4 years.

Crazy thing I have done to initially meet my husband was lied about where I was in the area to meet up with him for a date. Oh boy! Oh boy! As women, much goes into preparation for meeting Mr. Rught and not just Mr. Right Now! For women, I can testify that it’s all about the physical package we present. We are the PRESENT. Outfit, hair, nails, make ups and shoes to draw the attention to our full package.

When my husband and I first met we were just friends. I was introduced through family. It was about a year before he wrote to me, just pen pals. Then about 1 and a half years later, we met again for the second time. We hit it off and dated long distance. He lived 230 miles away and we saw each other about twice a month. So far we have been together over 37 years and it was worth the investment. A relationship that develops slowly over time is usually one that lasts. Relationships need to be nurtured. Also, writing develops great penmanship which is sadly lacking today.

Wow, let’s see, I once had myself video taped CLOTHED, lol, (before all of this fab technology now was available) and basically did a hello/intro video tape for a doctor…Glenn whom I met via a mutual third party. We had talked….I had the vhs video (about 2 mins) recorded and I mailed it to him. He was pleased …I flew to New York to meet him face to face. He was really FYNE and sweet yet It didn’t work out…he wasn’t my Mr. Right; this may be the first time I’ve thought about that video in years, lol. I still have it…I should have it recorded to a dvd. Memories, the things we do when we’re really young; maybe I should trash it because when I do get married my husband may not like that, IJS.
