Synopsis: A former British Army officer, who was tormented as a prisoner of war at a Japanese labor camp during World War II, discovers that the man responsible for much of his treatment is still alive and sets out to confront him.

  6. Family can be tough especially when testing the loyalty to your spouse when confronted by in-law’s little flaws. Once being in such a situation it was so important to explain the issues even if this meant temporary conflict and disagreement. This did save us a lot of future headaches.

    When my tool box was broken into at work and a friend of mine saw who done it. I asked that person and he denied doing it, but was fired anyway because of the wittness.

    I was living in Oakland ,Calif and my design teacher in college was always giving us weird lessons without explaining what we were doing it for or why…I was the only one to speak up and confront him that we weren’t learning anything in class…he walked out the room disgusted about what I said. Everyone was congratulating me about it “oh that’s telling him”-in relief he would give us better work. Unfortunately he gave me a bad grade and escaped off campus knowing it would tick me off.

    I had to confront a friend of mine of 30 years. When I was getting married she had stopped talking to me for about a month. She was being difficult about getting her dress and making arrangements for going to try on the dress. While we were shopping for last minute decorations, we were in the store having an argument and I let her have it. It felt good to clear the air. I told her that is my wedding and I wish she could act like it was important to her since we are friends.

    I needed to confront someone when I had my first baby! I was supposed to be taken to my room and was, instead , left in the hallway. Though I felt awkward, I flagged down an employee and told them my situation so I could be moved. It worked, so, I was glad to get settled after such an ordeal.
